A five round FIDE and ECF standard play chess Congress opened to juniors upto 21 years of age . Organisers are Mr Kim Shek, Dr. John Upham and Mrs Maha Chandar.

The Hampshire Open Junior FIDE Blitz is for all players who are aged 18 or fewer years on August 31st 2024 regardless of location of residence and / or school and will take place on Sunday April 7th, 2024 at Badger Farm Community Centre, Winchester.
There will be 15 rounds by Swiss pairings, Blitz time control, a £215 prize fund.
At the moment the entry is limited to one hundred players so be sure to enter early to avoid disappointment!
We are delighted to offer a training afternoon for our EPSCA U9 and U11 teams. All members of the team are welcome to attend this free event at the Badger Farm Community Centre to be led by FIDE Schools Trainer Lucasz Piecha.
